Who else feels like 2016 is one of the worst years to be living through?
Sat, 01 Oct 2016 19:22:27 +0100

Music these days is unoriginal and dull. I mean, seriously, now the music being song today is basically the type of Caribbean R&B music my family and I have been listening to for over a decade, it's just now White Americans have seemed to take more of a liking to it and have decided to sample those beats. Cheap Thrills and Justin Beiber's new single is a fine example of this. Politics is awful. Also, almost every artist sounds like they just got up from taking a long nap or they are nearly asleep. What's with all the slow music? I didn't ask for a lullaby, I want music I can dance to. I know some songs are meant to be slow, and I like slow songs, but not when there is too many to count. The news stations have literally turned into 'Trump TV', with only a little coverage on Hillary Clinton from time to time. #BlackLivesMatter should have never been a public group. I believe if Blacks wanted to be heard and get better treatment in society, there are other ways to do so than protesting on the streets for Black guys who probably wouldn't come to a protest march meant to fight against police brutality and killings of Black women, if the tables were turned. Also, let's not ignore that there are still many Black actors and actresses who are present in the media with or without their natural hair styles. They show up more than Asians and Latinos on TV for crying out loud. And if Black people wanted BET back, they should rally that a wealthy and respectful Black woman such as Oprah or man such as Don Lemon try to buy out the company. Heck, next time a wealthy Black guy owns a cable network company and a White (possibly Jewish) guy tries to buy if off them for any type of reason, don't sell it to him. Sell it to another Black person who will take care of the network and make it as positive and diverse as possible. The many cardinal mistakes that these Black business owners are making is selling it to some White person, when it could have gone to another Black person would sound business experience. Also, might I add that some liberals making all liberals look bad in the media is only making them all look crazy? Things are indeed getting out of hand. I've never been a hardcore liberal in any way, and honestly, I'm more of an independent voter, since I have quite a few leanings towards the Conservative Republican side on some issues. I think right now, both sides are nuts. None of them are looking any better right now, and all this politics is getting tiring. TV shows are good, yes, but too serious now. Most of the time I'm watching TV, I'm watching shows about cynical assholes who don't seem to have a humorous bone in their body, and they are in the middle of some type of apocalypse or assassination mission, and it's like this for almost every show. It's gotten so, so boring. Reality TV shows are no better. They just seem stupid. This is why I have chosen to mostly watch modern day cartoons, because while they had some serious characters, they were also funny, quirky, and relatable, more so than the other characters in these live action shows. Ironic, huh? Might I add that the fact that some people are being labeled as 'too sensitive' is causing people to act more insensitive as a result? I mean, yeah, I get that some people overreact to the smallest of things, but that is just them, not everyone else that actually has a good reason to get mad at someone for being a complete and utter dick to them for the stupidest reasons like their gender, race, sexuality, or religion. Could people stop being total dicks and dykes for just one minute and hear a person out for once instead of labeling them as 'too sensitive' or 'too defensive'? And for crying out loud, what's with nobody just being on board with taking away certain guns from gun stores or hiding them away from kids. Nobody said that you cannot carry a gun for protection or something, just stop being fucking stupid and keep them away from children. Nobody wants their child to die on their way to school, from school, or while in school. It's ridiculous! I'm so tired of watching the 'Colossal Dipshit' parade that this country has been having for the entire year. Why don't people just wake the fuck up, and realize actually having higher standards and caring more about what we're dealing with will enable our chances of surviving on this planet.
